Uchishtha Ganapati Sahasranamam

Sri Uchista Mahagapanathi is the main deity worshipped in Tantric ways (vama achara). Sri Uchista Ganapathi is usually seen seated along with his consort - Vigneshwari on his lap. Sri Uchista Ganapathi also finds mention in Vedic texts also for worship. Worshipping this Sri GAnesha in this form, does not require any serious austerity, mere reciting the verses of this sahasranama brings enormous benefits. This stotram is available in Rudrayamalam, the oldest texts that holds the collection and gives the methods of worshipping this form of Ganapathy and the revealer of this stotram is Sri Bhairava .
