Cancellation/Refund Policies

 

 

Cancellations, Refunds and replacements are at the sole discretion of GIRI and will be accepted and done only after one-to-one email communication with the shopper or customer who has placed an order on the website. 

Offers, discounts, packs, special rates, shipping time, processing time, and products displayed on the www.giri.in website are only applicable for Orders placed and paid via Online and not applicable for our Retail Outlets.

How do I cancel an order?

You can cancel your order online within 24 hours of placing the order. Your entire order amount will be refunded. An order cannot be cancelled once the item has been delivered to you.

Can I cancel a part of the order?

No.

How long will it take to process my cancellation request?

Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, it will take us a maximum of 1-2 business days to cancel the order and 3-4 days to initiate a refund. You will be notified of the same by email. Your refund will be processed soon after we receive the cancelled items back from the courier.

Whom should we contact to get the money transferred for the cancelled product?

Refunds are at the sole discretion of GIRI and will be accepted and done only after one-to-one email communication with the shopper or customer who has placed an order on the website. All refunds shall be done through Bank deposits only to a Nationalised (Indian based) Bank account, irrespective of payment being made within India or Outside India/CCavenue Payment Gateway/Paypal.

Please note:

  1. Cancellation & Refund against already delivered product, returning due to any reason, will get refund only for the product value. Shipping charges and payment gateway charges will not be refunded.
  2. Cancellation & Refund after dispatch & before delivery, will get refund only for the product value. Shipping charges and payment gateway charges will not be refunded.
  3. Cancellation and refund before dispatch; will get a refund for the product value, shipping charges, and payment gateway charges too.

Please send in a mail to us with the required information of your Local Bank account.

And your mobile number. This process may take up to 7-10 business days; an intimation of refund shall be sent to you via email.

Damages & Claims:

The Company has a very good track record of delivering the goods, adhering to safety procedures, certifications, and stipulations that are applicable in India and advised for International shipments. Despite these safety measures, there are chances that the product may get damaged in transit due to manhandling at different levels. And, for such damages that occurred during transit and due to manhandling outside the limits of our premises, GIRI cannot be held responsible. 

For damages that occurred during transit and damages due to neglect, improper usage or application will not be covered under our Returns Policy. The company cannot be held responsible for the damages. No refunds will be issued under such conditions.

Returns Process: 

As part of our return process, customers are required to record a video of the unpacking of their order. This video is essential for verifying the condition of the product and ensuring a smooth and efficient return process. Failure to provide this video may result in the rejection of the return request.

 Non Entertainment of Returns:

GIRI warehouses and stocks its products and manufactures certain products, so it cannot entertain returns as offered in other e-commerce portals, though replacements are accepted.

A request for Replacement can be raised within 10 days from the date of Receipt of Goods.

For replacement of your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for sending and receiving the replacement of your item.

Tracking information of the return parcel/package has to be communicated with the tracking information to sales@giri.in, with reference to the Order No. against which the return is being done.

Shipping costs incurred already towards an order are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
