Pathinen Puranangal -A.S.Gnanasambandan - Tamil

Layman's vernacular translation of the eighteen Puranas of Vyasa, Pathinen Puranangal, was done by A S Gnana Sumbandan and Gna Meera. The work was written in Tamil by A.S. Ganasambandan, who used his literary style and rhetorical devices. In addition, he is well known for his work as a Saivite scholar, textbook writer, and speaker on Tamil literature.

This book includes eighteen Puranas that discuss the three major gods that Hindus worship as the Trinity: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. These are the magnificent creations include the Mahapuranas, the world's devastation by the flood and its subsequent rebirth, and the several Manvantaras.
