The author recreates the story of Shiva on a made-up land named Meluha, governed by the king Lord Rama, going completely innovative in imagination.

Nine regional languages (including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada) as well as four foreign languages (including French and Polish) have translated works by author and former diplomat Amish Tripathi. He has also produced films and hosted documentaries in addition to being a writer.
