Karwa Chauth is a significant Hindu festival observed mainly by married women across North India. Celebrated during the waning phase of the moon in the month of Kartik, this day is dedicated to praying for the health, longevity, and prosperity of their husbands. Women observe a strict fast from sunrise until moonrise, refraining from both food and water. The day begins with sargi, an early morning meal prepared by the mother-in-law. Throughout the day, women engage in traditional rituals, dressing in vibrant attire, often red, and adorning themselves with jewelry. In the evening, they gather to perform the Karwa Chauth Pooja, listen to the Karwa Chauth Katha (sacred story), and conduct ceremonies using a decorated karwa (clay pot). The fast concludes after sighting the moon, offering prayers, and receiving the first sip of water and food from their husbands. More than a religious observance, Karwa Chauth symbolizes love, dedication, and the deep bond shared between husband and wife.

"Celebrate the auspicious occasion of Karwa Chauth with this beautifully curated pooja item set, designed to enhance the spiritual experience."

• This traditional set features a Thali (plate) to neatly arrange pooja essentials and offerings, creating a perfect setup for the ritual. It includes a Channi (sieve), an essential element used by women to view the moon before breaking their fast.
• The set also contains a sacred Pooja Kalash, ideal for holding offerings or water, adding a spiritual essence to the ceremony. A tumbler is provided to complete the collection of essential pooja items.
• To signify respect and devotion during prayers, the set comes with a pooja cloth used to cover the Thali or sacred idols. Rooted in centuries-old tradition from Northern India, Karwa Chauth is a ritual where women pray for the long life and prosperity of their husbands.
• It is believed to have originated as a harvest festival when women prayed for the well-being of their spouses, who often worked long hours away from home.
• This comprehensive set ensures that every element of the ritual is honored, facilitating a smooth and divine ceremony. The intricate designs on the Thali and Kalash reflect traditional craftsmanship, adding cultural charm to your pooja space.
