Kaivalya Navaneeta, which translates to ""The Cream of Emancipation,"" is a well-known Advaita classic in Tamil version. The term alludes to the separate existence of the soul separated from the body, with metaphors Navaneeta (butter) indicating butter and Kaivalya or Kevala denoting the state of the soul. Great masters have extracted the milk of wisdom and filled pots (old books) with it from the huge ocean of milk, which refers to the Upanishads.

The Kaivalya Navaneeta's author, Tandavaraya Swami, claims to have separated the butter from the milk. Those who have acquired this butter of divine insight won't go around surviving off of dust or imaginary objects. This work is divided into two sections: ""Doubts Cleared Away"" and ""The Exposition of the Truth."" They clarify any ambiguities that may emerge when interpreting the fundamental philosophical concepts.
