• Get ready to light up your Golu display with our exquisite Lord Dakshinamoorthy Golu Doll !
• This beautifully crafted Golu bommai captures the essence of this profound and enlightening form of Lord Shiva.
• Crafted with attention to detail, the Golu Doll is made from clay.
• Dakshinamurti is an aspect of the Hindu God Shiva as a guru (teacher). He is regarded as the personification of the supreme, or the ultimate awareness, understanding, and knowledge.
• This Golu doll showcases Lord Dakshnamoorthi in a serene seated posture with one leg crossed over the other, symbolising deep meditation and inner peace. The name "Dakshinamoorthy" is derived from the Sanskrit words "dakshina" (meaning "south") and "moorthy" (meaning "form" or "manifestation"). Therefore, Lord Dakshinamoorthy is often referred to as the "South-Facing Form of Shiva."
• The four Kumaras—Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanatana, and Sanatkumara—the sons of Brahma who had learned the Vedas and Upanishads at a very young age—came to Lord Siva for Darsana and bowed down to him. They prayed to Lord Shiva to show them how to lift the Maya, or illusionary veil. When Lord Siva heard the sages' plea, he took the form of Dakshinamurti. He adjusted them to Turiya's brain wave frequency and telepathically transmitted the necessary information to them while staying entirely quiet. To enlighten the four sons of Brahma, Lord Shiva Himself came in the form of Dakshinamurthy and sat under a banyan tree.
• Golu is a doll and figurine festival held during the Hindu festival of Navaratri in South India. Golu, a seasonal celebration of Navratri and the Dussehra festival, is a set of steps decorated with Bommais (dolls) of all shapes and sizes.
• Decorate your Kolu Padi with this unique collection of Kolu bommai for this Navarathri from Giri.
• This Dassara doll is an ideal present for festivals like Navaratri, Diwali, and housewarmings.
• During Navaratri, people visit each other's homes to see the Golu display and offer prayers. It is considered an auspicious time to seek blessings from the Divine and to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
• Additionally, Giri offers a wide range of plastic Golu padis and all decor items to create an enchanting ambiance for this Navaratri festival.
