"Welcome divine blessings and prosperity into your home with our exquisite Bihari Shrinathji Murti Standing On Base, a timeless symbol of love, devotion, compassion, and wisdom."

Shrinathji is a revered form of Krishna, depicted as a seven-year-old child. It is believed that the idol of Shrinathji self-manifested from stone and emerged from Govardhan Hill. Originally worshipped at Govardhan near Mathura, the idol was moved in 1672 A.D. along the Yamuna River and temporarily placed in Agra for six months. This relocation was intended to protect it from Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, who, as the legend goes, desired to possess the deity for himself.

To ensure its safety, the idol was transported further south on a chariot. Upon reaching the village of Sihad (Sinhad) in Mewar, the chariot’s wheels became stuck in the mud, refusing to move. The accompanying priests interpreted this as a divine sign that Shrinathji had chosen this location as his new abode. Under the protection of Maharana Raj Singh of Mewar, a temple was built at the site, as other Hindu rulers hesitated to accept the idol for fear of opposing Aurangzeb, who was notorious for his religious intolerance.

During the turbulent late 18th and early 19th centuries, the temple faced attacks from the Medas and Pindaris. To safeguard the sacred idol, it was once again relocated, this time to Udaipur and Ghasiyar, where it remained under the protection of Maharana Bheem Singh of Mewar. Through these trials, the devotion surrounding Shrinathji endured, and the temple continues to be a significant spiritual center today.
