• Aragaja Pottu is a mesmerising exotic black paste, and is one of the Ashtagandha (aromatic substances) applied on deities after the snana (holy bath), usually on the eyes and on the forehead, to mark the protection of the ajna chakra. Made of aromatic herbs and resins, mainly used in Devi sadhanas.
• Vel Aragaja Tikka paste, when applied to the forehead, gives the power of Vashikaran and desire fulfilment and drives evil forces away.
• A mesmerising black exotic paste made of a number of natural ingredients like camphor, lotus seeds, and black kumkum, among others.
• It is traditionally used as an offering to the Mother Goddess, and said to be beneficial when applied every morning after bathing.
