Description
Muruga is a master of many great qualities and divine attributes. His worship shall help the devotees overcome the three prime impediments of Karma. Amongst the many works composed by Arunagirinathar's literary work is the Vel Viruththam. This is a work of 10 poems. The Vel is glorified by Arunagirinathar in all his other works in a scattered manner. Not being satisfied with them, Arunagirinathar seems to have chosen to dedicate a small work exclusively to sing the praises, glory, greatness, and the various achievements of the Vel. Similar attempt has been made to praise the peacock, the mount of Lord Muruga.
