Sri Sundarakandam is a section of the Hindu epic Ramayana, which tells the story of Lord Rama and his quest to rescue his wife Sita from the demon king Ravana. The Sundarakandam specifically focuses on the events that occurred when Hanuman, the monkey god, went to Lanka to search for Sita.
Here are some uses of this Valmiki Ramayana book:
• This Valmiki Ramayanam book is available in multiple language, and since the text is bold, it is easy for anyone to read. Older people can easily read the book as well.
• This book explores the various themes and symbols present in the Sundara Kandam, and relates them to the broader teachings of Hinduism.
• This Valmiki Ramayana book is praised for its clarity, depth, and authenticity and is considered one of the most authoritative translations of the Sundara Kandam in Telugu.
• Sundara Kandam is an important part of the Hindu epic Ramayana, which is one of the most revered and widely read scriptures in Hinduism. Reading Sundara Kandamu can help one understand the historical and cultural context of the Ramayana and the role it has played in shaping Hindu culture and philosophy.
• The characters and events depicted in Sundara Kandam offer valuable lessons on morality, ethics, and human values. Reading the text can help one reflect on these lessons and apply them in one's own life.
• Sundara Kandam is a significant contribution to the study and understanding of Hindu mythology and philosophy, and continues to be widely read and respected by scholars and devotees alike.
Excellent. However, the book is quite heavy, especially for an 83 year-old like me. More importantly, it DOES NOT include Pattabhisheka Ghattam from Yuddha Kandam. Any Parayanam of Sundara Kandam will require the Parayanam of Pattabhishekam at the end. Earlier editon of Sundara Kandam from the1960s always contained the Pattabhisheka Sargam at the end. This, in my opinion, is a serious lapse, especially since I CANNOT FIND YUDDHA KANDAM IN YOUR ONLINE STORE!
Giri Trading should publish Pattabhisheka Sargam separately on its own.
