• The Narada Bhakti Sutra has a brief history: In 1967, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada undertook the translation and commentary on thirteen of the eighty-four aphorisms (referred to as "codes") of the Narada Bhakti Sutra.
• These translations and annotations were part of his work on the sutra.
• They gladly accepted the task, particularly because of Satsvarupa's prior involvement with Srila Prabhupada's initial writing of the Narada Bhakti Sutra.
