The Narasimha Purana holds a significant position among the upa-Puranas and, similar to other Puranas, is credited to Vyasa for its compilation. It includes a number of episodes from Lord Vishnuu's incarnations, particularly those of Lord Rama. There are 65 chapters total. It narrates Rishi's story. Markandeya's triumph over Yamagita and death. This Purana describes the type of devotion and what makes a true devotee, such as Dhruva. It is small, but it is brimming with significance.
