"Wings of Devotion. The Divine's Strength."

With this beautifully made Garudan statue in pure panchaloham, bring the heavenly might and steadfast devotion of Garudan into your house. Representing allegiance, bravery, and defense, Karudan, the powerful vahana (vehicle) of Lord Vishnu, stands for velocity, force, and the ability to dispel negativity. This garudan figure, which is hand-cast in the holy panchaloham, a five-metal alloy specified by the Shilpa Shastra for spiritual idols, showcases both artistic skill and spiritual power. Often put at the entrance of temples and houses to ward off evil and attract divine grace, Karudan is a revered figure in Vaishnavism who is also a brave protector and a holy eagle.

• Cultural Importance
Hindu tradition holds that Garudan is the eternal follower of Lord Vishnu and the monarch of birds. Karudan, a symbol of speed and higher vision, is invoked for courage, protection, and spiritual elevation. The idol becomes a spiritually charged thing that is thought to hold heavenly vibrations when cast in panchaloham, rather than merely a piece of art.

• Garuda: "The Wings That Carried Heaven"
Vinata and the wise man Kashyapa gave birth to a heavenly eagle named Garuda in the celestial domains long ago. Garuda exuded tremendous power, speed, and spiritual radiance from the moment he was born. Nevertheless, his early years were marked by sadness because a curse and a cunning ruse had led to his mother, Vinata, being enslaved by his co-wife Kadru. Garuda was committed to releasing his mother, so he went to Kadru's sons, the nagas (serpent beings), and inquired about the conditions for her release. They sought the amrit, the elixir of immortality that belonged to the gods alone in the sky.

Garuda flew higher than anybody had ever done before, demonstrating unwavering commitment and unparalleled bravery. He overcame obstacles with relentless determination, battling devas, flames, and traps designed to protect the amrit. Garuda's strength and single-mindedness so captivated Lord Vishnu that he bestowed upon him the blessing of eternal life and a position as his vahana (divine mount) by his side.

In a display of selflessness, Garudan refrained from eating the nectar after obtaining it. He rather gave it to the nagas as promised, who were then duped and refused it. By doing so, Garudan not only saved his mother but also established a lasting connection with dharma, fidelity, and heavenly service. Since that day, Garuda has represented unwavering devotion. He is Lord Vishnu's chariot, keeping watch over the heavens and shielding followers from darkness with wings that extend across the sky and a heart dedicated to the divine.

• Uses
• Perfect for putting beside Vishnu or Lakshmi statues on your altar to complete Vaishnava pooja preparations.
• For defense and energy cleansing, keep the garudan statue in meditation rooms or entrances.
• To pay tribute to Karudan's role in serving the divine, use it during Vishnu-related ceremonies, Garuda Panchami, or Vaikunta Ekadasi.
• An ideal present for temple installations or for devotees who are looking for divine help and inner strength.

• Preservation
• Use a gentle towel to routinely clean the panchaloham idol, and stay away from chemical cleansers that might harm its surface.
• To preserve the shine of the garudan statue, avoid exposing it to direct water contact or high humidity.
• Following oil treatments or abhishekams, gently wipe and keep in a holy, dry location.

"Bring home the protective grace of Karudan in timeless panchaloham by invoking strength, speed, and divine loyalty."
