Description
Mahapradosha Mahimai, is a outliner giving details about the benefits of worshipping Sri Siva during Pradosha Days (mostly thrayodasi - sukla or krishna paksha). During Pradosham, it is said all Devatas assemble in Kailasa to watch the thandava of Sri Siva through which he offers protection to those who pray for protection and salvation from the birth cycle. Offering shodasa upacharas and performing abhiseka using various divine items over Sri Nataraja and Siva Linga, would bring innumerable benefits.
