Lalita - Kosha

Lalita-Kosha contains a translation of the Thousand Names of Goddess Lalitha and an introduction to a collection of Sanskrit texts bearing on the Lalita cult. The current volume is encyclopedic by nature and has a detailed introduction that covers several Lalita cult-related topics.

The list of the thousand names is also provided in English, along with any relevant explanations with additional illustrations featured. This collection includes nearly all of the Sanskrit literature that has been written about Lalita. The text of Lalita-sahasra-nama-strotra is also included in the volume which is read both as names used in devotion and as verses. The sections of the Brahmanda-purana that deal with Lalita (Lalitopakhyana) and Lalita-trisati, a text that is closely related to both of them, are added.
