Tanaji
When Tanaji Malasure swore to aid his comrade Shivaji in his battle against the Mughals, he was just a young child. As they overran fort after fort, they, together with a small group of devoted supporters, turned into a thorn in the side of Emperor Aurangzeb. Tanaji's abilities were put to the test when he was given the nearly unachievable assignment of taking Kondana Fort. Shivasmruti by G.S. Sardesai and Shivaji the Maratha - His Life and Times by Sir H.G. Rawlinson served as the inspiration for the current narrative.
