Ellora Caves - The Glory Of Rashtrakootas - English
For two and a half centuries (752 to 985 AD), the Rashtrakootas reigned throughout the Deccan, showing acceptance for all the major religions of the time. Ellora, which features rock-cut cave-temples symbolizing the Buddhist, Shaiva, Jaina, and Vaishnava religions, is a reflection of this. The heroes of Rashtrakoota, who have left us with the Ellora caves, are the subject of this Amar Chitra Katha.
