Meera Bai Jayanti: Celebrating the Life of a Devotional Legend

Meera Bai Jayanti is celebrated annually in commemoration of the birth of one of India's most venerated saints and poets. Born in 1498 in the modest town of Kurki in the state of Rajasthan, Meera Bai, a princess from the royal family of the Rajputs, was renowned not only for her royalty, but for her unflinching love for Lord Krishna.
