The Ragas of Karnatic Music is a treatise on Carnatic Music was originally brought out in the year 1938 by Sri.N.S.Ramachandran. It is an attempt to theoratise the concepts which was so far at that time was mostly practical and not documented. Sri. Ramachandran has given detailed description about the raagas with meaning, classification, structure, analysis and embellishment of songs (Keerthana). In the introduction, the author mentions the sources and finds names of rare scripts on other oriental texts Carnatic music. This book is a preliminary guide which every music practioner should have with him/her.
