Description
Tarpana - a method of giving oblations using water purified by mantra using hands. An important part in mantra prayogam to give oblations through liquid (holy water, scented water etc.) to the deities or pithrus as specified in sastras. This patra (chatti) is made of highly quality durable brass. Sastra recommends a vessel of this kind be used for the purpose of Tarpana. Higly useful as cookware in kitchens also.
