Description
Sundara Kandam, one of the seven major chapters of Srimad Ramayana, compiled by Sri Valmiki Bhagavan, has 68 sargams (minor chapters) , in 2885 slokas (verses). This book is a concised version of having selected important slokas for reciting, which is in practice by elders and scholars. It is believed that reciting these verses brings success (Karya Siddhi), by Sri Hanuman's blessings. This book also has many stotrams in praise of Sri Sita, Sri Rama, Sri Lakshmana, Sri Bharata, Sri Satrughna and the methods of reciting (Parayanam) given in Addendum.
