Sri Subrahmanya Sahasranamam, is the collection of hymns in praise of Sri Muruga (Guha, Karthikeya or Shanmuga) having around 1000 names in 180 verses in sanskrit. Reciting Subramanya Sahasrnamam brings the blessings of Sri Muruga by way of winning over the enemies, progeny, family bliss and everlasting wealth. Sri Ramakrishnan (Mumbai) has come out with meanings given in Tamil for each nama of Sri Shanmuga in line with the present day requirements.
