Description
An important accessory in shodasa upachara offered to the deity during pooja is the thirupathagai used to sway near the face of the deity. This is made of brass metal with Surya engraved. Has a spear shape with Surya engraved at the centre. Comes with a thin stout handle which enables it to be fixed on the thiruvachi (arch) behind the deity.
