Description
Shivling - Shiva Linga with Aavudayar symbolises the form of Shiva and Sakthi, the form through which the entire creation of the Universe is evolved. Linga has all the prime deities (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) placed in itself. Worshipping Shivalinga brings prosperity. This Linga having unique feature of having the Yoni (Aavudayar) turned left is easy to please and brings the blessings of Sri Parvathi (Sakthi devi). Performing Shiva Linga puja at Cow-sheds, near to the Tulsi plant, sea shores, mountain top, etc is ten times more beneficial and fruitful. It is best to perform puja in Magha month, Kartik Month and every Krishna Chaturdasi days. Black Shiva Lingam is considered as holy and sacred form and it contains highly protective energies.
