Description
Sahasradharai, an important accomplice in shodasa upachara,for performing neerattal (holy bathing) of deities. This is a round shaped plate made of thick brass or metal having many holes through which the holy water is poured over the deity. One of the sixteen upacharas offered during the pooja, this has utility during the shastiaptha poorthi or sadhabishekam of elders in the family.
