Ramanuja or Ramanujacharya was one of the foremost gurus following Vaishnava tradition. He has traveled across India preaching devotion to Lord Vishnu. The puja traditions being followed now in the Srirangam and Tirupati temples have been set by guru Ramanujacharya. The great acharya attained Samadhi within the Srirangam temple. His body is now being looked after with great care by the priests of Srirangam. Visitors to the Srirangam temple view and pray to Ramanujacharya every day.
