Description
A simple spacious round shaped thick copper plate (thambalam) with shallow bottom to hold any fillers. Has multiple usages during auspicious occasions. Sastra recommends copper based utensils for storing grains, fruits or using in Pooja or aradhana. Usually donated along with other utensils as seedhanam (wedding gifts) given by brides parents.
