Description
Garuda, comes under the form (vyuhas) of Sriman Narayana as Sankarshana. Worshipping Sri Garuda also brings Brahma Vidya (wisdom of the supreme). Reciting, the five syllable " Kshipa …" Garuda Mantra, one gets all the four goals of life (Dharma, artha, kama and Moksha). Worshipping Garuda, one gets the ability to understand the Supreme Knowledge and of the inferior. Made of high quality panchaloka, this Garuda (idol) is semi-seated with his left leg strongly footed and the right bent at the knee, resembling his readiness to serve the God. With all ornaments, each feather of his wing and nagas (serpants) are clearly crafted to the precision. Worshipping Garuda also, one gets the Sarpa doshas (malefic effects of Rahu and Ketu) waded off.
