Description
This palghat aarti is made of brass metal and used in the temples and in the pooja rooms of Hindu people. During the pooja, camphor is burnt to perform aarti before the deity. The camphor is placed in this object and lighted. Just as God rotates the sun and the moon, you imitate the same and move the small camphor lamp before God to show the gratitude and offerings to the God.
Aarthi is done during Hindu pujas in Temples at homes.
There are different types of Aarthis.

- Single or othai
- double or rettai
It goes upto Pafive or Pancha Aarthi
