Description
Muthangi is mostly used during alankaram of the deity after abhisheka. This Muthangi finds its place in Varalakshmi Vrata pooja, where the Sri Lakshmi is decorated. This angi is adorned multicoloured natural equivalent beads knotted in a specific pattern to look alike a necklace that can be worn around the chest and neck. A small thick cotton thread is attached to easily tie and untie the necklace.
