Description
Ashtalakshmi Lamp (Vilaku) is made of brass with Sri Gajalakshmi at the placard behind the goblet. The goblet is half-an inch deep to hold enough oil. Sri Mahalakshmi is believed to be residing in the Deepa (radiance). Lighting at the Sandhi times and reciting Lakshmi Ashtothram or Kangadhaara Stotram or Sri Ashta Lakshmi Stotram will get the blessings of Sri Maha Lakshmi. Mainly used as a nilavilakku, this lamp is an important of everyhousehold.
