Lakshmi Varahar Idol - Sri Lakshmi Varaha Swami, the third avatar (incarnation) of Sri Mahavishnu, protectected Bhumi Devi (Universe) from Hiranyaksha. This sculpture has all the vaishnava lakshnas beautifully carved, as per Agama Sastra. The Lord holding in his hand, Shanka, Chakra and Varada hasta-giving solace to the devotees and other hand embracing Sri Lakshmi, sitting on his lap. Sitting in Ardha Padmasana with one leg touching the earth and other folded in his lap where Sri Lakshmi is seated on is the ultimate form of Lord Vishnu, the devotee would be wishing to meditate upon. Worshipping Sri Lakshmi Varaha (with Varaha salagrama) with Lakshmi Varaha Sahasramanam and Varaha mantra casts away doshas of Rahu and Ketu and since the protector of the Universe, clears all problems related to land. Ideal to be kept in Pooja.
