Description
This beautifully designed elegant kerala type lamp (Nilavillakku) is made from quality bronze metal with shine to last long, with strong stem and a thick base to support the entire lamp. The broad container is sized to hold oil for the llght (deepam) to stand for hours. Worshipping deities through well lit lamp is recommended by Sastras. Many upasaanas or poojas are performed, keeping the deepam as deity, like - Vidya Rajagopala Mantra Prayogam, Shodasa Mahalakshmi Pooja etc.
