This is a lamp of a simplified kuthuvilakku of karaikudi style. Made of good quality, heat resistant brass, this vilakku is of 5 inches in height and 2 inches wide. The goblet is slightly smaller with five alcoves to place the wick. An hamsa (anna pakshi) moulded, is placed on the top of the villakku, giving a rich look. Lighting this vilaku brings the blessings of Sri Saraswathi and Sri Mahavishnu.
