Description
Various types of aratis and diyas are offered to the Lord, during pooja and upacharas. Swaying the the pancha arati in front of the Lord in right motion, increases the Satvic waves and gradually decreases to Rajasic. These waves acts as an armour protecting the environment from negativity. Pancha (five) indriyas of humans and Pancha bhootha tatwas is represented in the form of five diyas, the wick dipped in Camphor / oil. Made of thick brass metal, this arti can withstand temperatures for long hours, with brass metal arm for holding and supported by a strip at the bottom, gives safety to the devotee. Has antique value and can be kept for generations with easy maintenance.
Aarthi is done during Hindu pujas in Temples at homes.
