Sri Guruvayoorappan,is a form of Sri Mahavishnu. Sri Krishna is appeared to have taken the form with four hands. This panchaloha moorthy is the near resemble of the original one in Guruvayoor. The artist has given due attention to the details and carved this beautiful figurine of Sri Guruvayoorappan. The thiruvachi (arch) decorated with peacock feathers is placed behind the moorthy. Sri Guruvayoorappan, holding weapons in three hands and a lotus on the right lower hand, is aptly captured and carved. The entire statue is placed on a beautiful padma peeta.
