Description
Simhasana, is an artpiece of mina-kari. It is the seat offered to deities. It is one of the 16 upachaaras offered to deities afspecified in Shastra, portraying the deity as King or the Queen. Any deity with folded legs (Padmasana) can be placed on this singasan. This marvellous piece of art and handicraft (minakari style), is made of wood, designs of various colours on a white metal plate and fixed over the wooden simhasan to give a royal and rich look to the deity. It comes in a height of 12 inches.
