Description
Sahasradharai, an accessory used in pooja for performing neerattal (holy bathing) of deities. This is a plate made of thick brass having many pores through which the holy water is poured over the deity. One of the sixteen upacharas offered during the pooja, this has utility during the shastiaptha poorthi or sadhabishekam of elders in the family.
