This Copper Achmani-Uddharani can be used to dispense water from panchapatra during daily puja in Hindu festivals or homes. The Uddharani is paired along with the Panchapathram and used for storing and dispensing holy theertham. While doing Achamaneeyam, one has to take only the quantum of water. Small Udharini is used at home and big size is used in temples to distribute Pooja water, Abisheka Theertham, Sripaadha Theertham to devotees at temples, mutts and home. It gives an auspicious look to the puja room.
