Description
This Lota/Chombu is a round container to hold water. It is used in pooja room to hold the holy water. In temples they use this lota to pour the abisheka contents like curd, milk etc., to the stone deity. This lota is made from brass which is a good conductor of heat. It is designed to have minimum area of contact with the floor to keep it pure. The opening of the neck is wider thus allowing the water inside to flow without difficulty. The outer edges of the opening of the mouth are folded back to form a nice metal ring which makes the chombu strong. Available in varying sizes.
