Nalapaakam

Originally written as a series in ‘Kanaiyazhi’ magazine, Nalabhagam took the form of a novel after the author’s demise. The abstract theme of the novel which is captivating to date, makes it stand unique among his other novels. With a dose of empathy, lust and spirituality scattered throughout the plot, the novel is an outrageous attempt where the lead character employs blood relations to extend to strengthen the family generations of adopted children.

T Janakiraman is one of the notable Tamil novelists who is also a Sahitya Akademi awardee with a dozen novels and short story collections to his credit. Apart from translations and plays, he has also penned a few travelogues.
